3Ne Ch23

Jesus stamps His approval on the words of Isaiah and commands the people to search the words of the prophets more. Samuel the Lamanite's words about the resurrection are added to the records along with the other prophets.
Jesus commands that we search the words of the prophets diligently because they are great and the topics that are spoken of are of utmost importance to both the people He addressed back then, and to us in the latter days (v1-3). The Lord gives words that should be written so they can available for the Gentiles to learn of the necessity of repenting and coming unto Christ in order to be saved (v4-5). The words of the prophets are words of Christ and He tells the people to bring the records they have of all the prophets so he can add more words too it (v6-8).
The prophet Samuel who testified of the signs of the birth and death of Christ was known by the people and the Lord asks why his prophecies have not been written yet (v9-11). The Nephites follow Christ's commandment to write the words of Samuel the Lamanite and put it with the records they have kept of other prophets (v12-13). Having this collection of records that are words of the Lord, the people are commanded by God to teach according to that which He had expounded unto them (v14).
