3Ne Ch15

It is official, the Law of Moses is fulfilled through Christ and the Nephites were mentioned to the people in Jerusalem as being other sheep. We know that, but the wicked people in Jerusalem didn't because of their iniquity.
Anyone who remembers Christ's sayings and does them when He is gone will be raised with Him at the last day, for those who didn't understand all of the words, don't worry too much because the Law of Moses is fulfilled and you don't need to even know it anymore because Christ has set forth the new law (v1-5). There is still the covenants that He has made with the people, but no longer the old law, the new rules involve looking toward Christ in all you do and keeping the commandments to the end, which is similar to what prophets have and will say (v6-10).
Addressing just the twelve disciples, Jesus expresses his love by calling them a light unto the people because they are examples among this branch of the house of Joseph that is not known of by the people in Jerusalem (v11-14). The only think Christ ever told Jerusalem was that there are other sheep not of their fold that I must visit because they didn't have enough faith and belief to understand what it would mean to explain anything more (v15-18). There is a reason Lehi left with his family, so they knew of the iniquity of Jerusalem, but the inhabitants didn't know the great civilization that came from just two families leaving their city (v19-20).
Christ assures the twelve that this people was who he was mentioning when he told Jerusalem of other sheep, even though they thought it was the Gentiles (v21-22). Truth is that the Gentiles won't ever get to meet Him face to face, we are connected to Him through the Holy Ghost, but I would like to think that I will at least get to meet Him during the second coming though...(v23). The Nephites were so blessed to have the opportunity to both hear and see Him and be numbered His sheep whom were given to Him by the Father (v24).
