In the last days there will be an immense amount of iniquity and The Lord will visit with great destruction and those who fight against Zion will fall (v1-3). The Lord punishes the ones who reject the prophets by preventing them from recieving the knowledge of the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon (v4-8). We know some knowledge from it but other is sealed until The Lord sees fit to reveal it and it will be read upon the house tops to everyone (v9-11).
All the knowledge is in the book that has been seen by three witnesses who bare testimony of it so the words which are translated will be believed (v12-14). Here is where Nephi is starting to quote from Isaiah. In v15-18 we see hints of Isaiah 29:11-12 speaking of how the learned cannot read the book. This is why The Lord gives the book to Joseph Smith who is not learned and who is given power to read them because he will accept them and follow God's instructions (v19-23).
The rest of the chapter is almost word for word from Isaiah 29:13-24. In Isaiah the verses that correspond to v25-26 are scripture mastery and considered worth memorizing! The concept worth knowing in those verses is to not be a hypocrite and love God with you're whole heart. Those who seek to conspire against The Lord have nowhere to hide because The Lord sees all and will judge accordingly (v27-28). The last days will bring forth meek and humble to rejoice in The Lord because they see the blessings of being righteous (v29-31). The sinner will not be important and the righteous will be sanctified and everyone will come to understand the doctrine (v32-35).
Some of that last part may be a little off but it is my testimony that The Lord sees all our actions and knows our intentions. He will judge us according to the knowledge we have. He loves us and wants us to know the whole truth when we are ready for it.
