Mosiah assembled the people in Zarahelma together and we see that the original people, who were decendents of Mulek, were a greater number than all those that had joined them from the Nephites (v1-2). But there were even more Lamanites than all of them put together (v3). When Mosiah gathered his people, he read the records of Zeniff (the first flashback), and the records of Alma (the second flashback) (v4-6).
As I'm sure you are amazed with those awesome stories, so were the people of Zarahemla and were happy for the safety of everyone (v7-9). They praised God for his blessings of safety and asked to bless the Lamanites who were sinful (v10-11). We hear from the families that the former priests of Noah left behind and they were ashamed of their fathers and became Nephites (v12-13).
King Mosiah finished speaking and then Alma preached unto them repentance and faith by using those stories they just heard as examples (v14-16). The people of Limhi and Alma were brought out of bondage because The Lord delivered them. After all his words, Alma baptized all that desired to be baptized and they formed the Church of God established all through Zarahemla (v17-19).
There were so many who joined the church that many teachers were ordained to preach the words that Alma delivered (v20-21). Although there were many church around town (7), they were all hovered by one head prophet, Alma, and none taught anything other than the word of God (v22-23). They were the people of God and they were blessed with The Lord's spirit to guide and prosper them (v24).
